This policy explains what DesiDay (desiday.in), run by DesiTechnology, does with your information. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Your events stay on your device

Events, tasks, your city and your settings are saved only in your own browser (local storage). They are not sent to our servers. If you clear your browser data, they are deleted. Use “Export .ics” to keep a backup.

DESI ID login (optional)

You can use DesiDay fully without logging in. If you choose “Log in with DESI ID”, the login happens on desitechnology.com. DESI ID then tells DesiDay your DESI ID number, name and email so we can show that you are logged in. DesiDay keeps this only inside a signed login cookie in your browser for up to 30 days; we do not store it in a database. Your DESI ID account itself is covered by the DESITechnology Privacy Policy.

We use only the cookies needed for login. See our Cookie Policy.

Advertising

DesiDay may show ads from Google AdSense in the future to keep the service free. Before any ad or analytics cookie is used, we will ask for your permission. Ads are never shown inside your personal events.

We never sell your data

We do not sell, rent or share your personal calendar data with anyone.

Your rights and contact

You can log out at any time, and you can delete your DESI ID from your DESI ID account page. For any privacy question, write to hello@desitechnology.com.
